Donation Acceptance Policy

The Trust is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical fundraising. We exercise careful discretion in accepting donations to ensure that all contributions align with our mission and legal responsibilities.

  • Unconditional Giving: The Trust prefers unrestricted donations that give the trustees the flexibility to allocate funds where they are most urgently needed across our 12 program areas.
  • Designated Donations: Donors may specify a preferred program area (e.g., Education, Healthcare, Women Welfare). We will make every reasonable effort to honour such designations, provided they align with active program requirements.
  • Right to Decline: The Trust may decline any donation if acceptance would create a conflict of interest, compromise our independence, or raise legal or reputational concerns — without being required to provide detailed reasons.
  • Anonymous Donations: Anonymous donations are accepted only up to limits prescribed by applicable laws. We may request donor identity details for compliance with anti-money laundering and tax regulations.
  • No Quid Pro Quo: Donations to the Trust are purely charitable. No goods, services, or benefits are offered in exchange for any donation.
4

Utilization of Donation Funds

All funds received by Daheen Raj C.H.E.S Trust are applied exclusively to further the Trust's 12 registered charitable objectives. The Trust adheres to the principle that the maximum possible portion of every donation reaches the intended beneficiaries directly.

1
Program Implementation

The primary allocation of all donations goes toward direct program delivery — education camps, health screenings, cultural events, relief distributions, skill workshops, and environmental drives across our operational areas.

2
Beneficiary Support

Funds support direct beneficiary needs including educational materials, medicines, food, clothing, vocational training kits, and emergency relief for vulnerable individuals and families.

3
Operational & Administrative Costs

A minimal, essential portion is used to maintain the Trust's operations — including staff, communications, legal compliance, and program coordination — to ensure efficient and sustained service delivery.

4
Reserve Fund

A prudent reserve is maintained for emergency response, disaster relief, or unforeseen community needs, as authorized by the Trust's governing board.

No portion of the Trust's income or surplus shall be used for personal benefit of any trustee, officer, or member. All financial decisions are made collectively by the Board of Trustees in accordance with the Trust Deed and applicable Indian law.

5

Acknowledgement & Donation Receipts

We are committed to acknowledging every act of generosity with gratitude and proper documentation. Upon successful receipt of your donation, the following will be provided:

  • Immediate Confirmation: An automated transaction confirmation is sent to your registered email address within 24 hours of a successful online donation.
  • Official Donation Receipt: A formal receipt bearing the Trust's name, address, registration number, your name, donation amount, date, and payment mode — issued within 7 working days.
  • 80G Certificate: Where applicable, a Section 80G tax exemption certificate will be issued, enabling you to claim deductions in your Income Tax return.
  • Annual Report Access: All donors are welcome to review the Trust's annual activity and financial reports available on our Transparency page.
  • In-Kind Receipt: For material or in-kind donations, a separate acknowledgement letter describing the items received will be issued.
